Daytrip to Llangollen

Llangollen is one of the many day trips on our doorstep within an hours drive and well worth a visit. We recently reaquainted ourselves with the canal side walk from the town centre to Horseshoe falls and took some picture along the way to share the beauty of this place.

We also found agreat place to park just oustide town right on the canal path that you can use to do the walk to Horseshoe falls and/or the short 1/2 mile walk into town, passing the horse drawn narrow boats along the way (one of the many visitior attractions).

It's also worthwhile dropping by at the Pontcysyllte Aqueduct which I believe is a world heritage site. If you're brave enough, you can walk across yourself. Here's a link to the TripAdvisor site with some great photo's.
